Our members have been inviting visitors to their gardens since 2007. Please join us in the gardens this season. See below for a current schedule.
June 13 – Saturday between 10 am and 2 pm the garden of Larry D. Teeter. They moved into their Portland home in August 2017 after translocating from Texas. There are numerous wildlife feeders, water sources, tree rounds, and brush piles throughout the property. Larry achieved Backyard Habitat Gold certification in the fall of 2018, but the work transforming the property is ongoing. The garden is located in Portland. Please watch your email for more details. Click here for a preview/index of some of Larry’s plantings.

June 26 & 27 – Friday evening 5pm – 9pm & Saturday 11am to dark Tina Mori will share her garden with our lucky members. The old Italianate style throughout Tina’s garden makes an impressive space; especially because all the work has been done in a span of only thirteen years! Her three-acre property displays her creative design and is brimming with garden treasures galore dispersed throughout, as well as projects currently in the works. The garden is located in Oregon City. Please watch your email for more details and check the chapter directory for her complete address.

Nancy Cutler, class of 2000, is the coordinator for our Open Gardens project. If you are interested in opening up your garden for us to visit, please contact Nancy at cutler.nancyjean@gmail.com She needs the dates, address and any specific information about the garden. A photo or two is always helpful. With your help, she will develop an announcement with garden descriptions and directions. The announcements will go out to the membership in MailChimp emails.
Thank you, Nancy, for chairing this wonderful event. And much gratitude to Sharon Wiley who headed up this event for so many years.
