For information about the Clackamas County Event Center which formally was known as the Clackamas County Fairgrounds.

They are now the Clackamas County Event Center. The name change better reflects our business as an event center hosting hundreds of thousands of guests each year 52 weeks of the year. The annual Clackamas County Fair is just one of the many events we host throughout the year.

History of the SGF

In 1985 the Clackamas County Master Gardeners put on the first Spring Garden Fair with a fuchsia sale. Today the vendors number over 175 and are the regions largest kickoff sale for spring planting. It takes over 300 Master Gardener volunteers to put this sale on.

The proceeds from this sale support two scholarships at Clackamas Community College for Horticulture students and the Clackamas County Master Gardener Horticulture Endowment at Clackamas Community College. We also support OSU Extension, local tri-county Master Gardener Program and other community projects.
